Article 33 Communication of all information to substances

novotek provides the following information on substances identified by the European Chemical Agency as substances to be included in Annex XIV of the REACH Regulation (the so-called Candidate List) and contained in an article in a concentration of more than 0.1% by mass.

Based on current knowledge, we assume that our products, with the exception of lead, do not contain any other materials that are on the current candidate list and exceed 0.1 mass percent per product. Lead may be present in small quantities e.g. in aluminum and copper alloys as an alloying element for better mechanical processing.

European RoHS Directive

The products of novotek are often installed in vacuum systems which fall within the scope of the EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2). For these vacuum systems, all our stainless steel components can be used, as they are compliant with the EU RoHS 2 Directive. For vacuum systems that are not placed on the market within the scope of this directive or are not covered by it, novotek also offers products with more than 0.1 mass percent lead which are not compliant with this directive.
